Concept Paints is a family-owned Australian business, specialising in the development and manufacture of innovative high quality automotive refinish and industrial coatings solutions which are sought after across the Globe.
From its inception in 1994, Concept Paints has grown to become Australia’s 7th largest paint manufacturer. Today we export our locally developed and manufactured automotive refinish and industrial coatings products to major markets including the United States of America.
The success of our growth is attributed to our technology and innovative research and development driven by our dedicated team of specialists and our strong distribution network.
The development of NO MIX™ Basecoat System, the world’s first no agitation solvent basecoat tinting system, has opened export markets around the world. Our Low VOC solvent technology, applied to our unique NO MIX™ Basecoat System offers a truly environmentally responsible solution for the collision repair industry. We are continuing to develop new coating technologies and new products, partnering with major coating companies across the Globe.
Today Concept Paints is a major participant in the coatings and collision repair industries. We actively contribute to the development and progress of these industries via our membership of the Advanced Manufacturing Growth Centre, the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association, the Australian Paint Manufacturers’ Federation, the Australian Shipbuilding & Repair Group, the Australian Association of Progressive Repairers, I-CAR Australia Industry Training Alliance and the IAME (Institute of Automotive Mechanical Engineers).
